Statement of Inspiration

O artist - 
You know - its essential
that all that the saints
say and all that our
dearest friends and lovers
say to do - be DONE
But - an ascetic strips
a praying artist is the
more clothed. Sight and
the sound of one hand clapping
- Joy! and the well being
of laughter. Intimacy
and life in God - be he
husband or lifetime
betrothed. And there are
no riches richer than
God's joy. An intimacy
with him that I can only
hope for which
EVER tends the Garden
within our souls
The Church is
a
soul
when it prays.
- and the fitting mark on paper with
a rush is my soul's
​prayer.
